Used since ancient times in Japan during dances and ritual music (kagura), reaches high pitched tones and is still widely used in the field of folklore.
Starting from the common points between the Western flute and shinobue, Maestro Abe will present to the participants the characteristics of the Japanese flute and teach you how to play the instrument. The workshop will end with the performance of a piece ensemble.
